Mechanical engineer undergrad/grad question

Hi, I was wondering if I get my BS in mechanical engineering at UCR will I be able to get my masters in aerospace engineering at UCLA? So can my major be different from undergrad to grad school? Also is there any program for aerospace engineering at UCR? Thanks!!!

Bump…

Anyone?? Can the major you do for undergrad be different for grad school? Thanks!

Yes, you can get your undergraduate degree at a different college than your graduate degree. this is normal.

I know I can go to another college, but can my major be different? Thanks

if i remember correctly some times they have requirements that must be filled…course wise or something like that, so yes you can get a BS in ME and get a MS in AE

yes it can be different, but whether UCLA will want to accept you is a different story. you should ask an academic advisor at UCLA. i wouldn’t trust anyone on here to be qualified enough to answer your question with 100% certainty, as it differs from university to university and from major to major.

Thanks for the help x8 and future…looks like i gotta call some schools up
