Mechanical engineering at CSU Long Beach.

How's mechanical engineering at CSU Long Beach. So far I'm applying as a transfer to:

UC

*Berkeley
*Los Angeles
*Davis
*Santa Barbara

CSU

*Cal Poly-SLO
*Cal Poly-Pomona

I just applied to the two polytechnics in the CSU because they are good in engineering. Should I apply to CSULB? I have a 3.65 and have guaranteed admissions to UC Davis through a transfer agreement. Is the ME department decent at CSULB? How does it rank against the Cal Polys or the UCs?

Honestly, the two Cal Poly’s are the best CSUs for engineering, and I would rank CSULB as third. They have a good engineering department. I’m not familiar with the engineering departments at UCs, but in general, in terms of academics, UCs> CSUs.
