Mechanical Engineering major, questions about chem H2a and chem 1LE

I am currently enrolled in chem H2a lecture and discussion and I decided to enroll in chem 1LE lab only. Is that ok? Do I have to enroll in the discussion for chem 1LE as well? I've tried to enroll in chem H2a lab, but web reg says that I don't have the prerequisites. I don't even know what chem 1LE is, other than the fact that it's restricted to engineering majors only. I'm pretty sure I have to take chem 1LE. Can you provide any info that could help me?

P.S. I know I don't have to take H2a because I wont gain anything from it, but I've heard good things about the class and a teacher that will be teaching it. I got a 95% on the chem placement test and I want to understand chemistry on a deeper level. The class is not weighted which is pretty awesome.

aren’t MAE majors only required to take one year of chem?

and i don’t even know what chem 1le is either.

i thought chem h2a required h2la.

you should talk to the counselors.

i think you mean the class is not curved.

if you want to take h2la, go call a counselor, i’m pretty sure u can get in h2la if you have h2a. maybe you should try adding the discussion for the lab class first.
