<p>heard uconn's med program is decent</p>

<p>if i go to uconn, and then plan on going to uconn school of medicine, is it necessary for me to go through the rigorous process of studying and then taking the MCAT or is there a program that allows students to enter med school if they have certain gpa/courses through univ of conn. </p>

<p>There is the CPiM (Combined Program in Medicine) that you apply for from high school... extremely competitive. Well, supposedly competitive. Anyway, you are still required to take the MCAT as part of the program.</p>
