Media Coverage in Resume - Too Braggy?

Hi guys,

Need your help here. I’m considering adding in a tiny blurp into my resume (which I’m submitting through the common app) which highlights the publications that have covered an activity that I founded.

Would something like: Featured in major publications including The Huffington Post (etc) sound too braggy?

My understanding is that it’s perfectly fine to include it in if I’m applying for an internship. Is it the same for college application resumes? Do I need to tweak the narrative of my resume for college applications?

Thanks.

Not too braggy at all. I would include it. My son had some media coverage, as well. He created a web site (using his name as the domain name), and posted links to the press coverage, as well as to his projects (they were software based projects). He talked about one his projects in the common app essay, and put a link to the web site as the last line in the essay (for more information, please visit www.myname.com).

@SueAnneW Thanks! I’ll do just that.
