I have been suffering from migraines since I was 12 years old, but recently they've gotten a whole lot worse. Usually I'll either faint because of the severity of the migraine or start to hallucinate. They called an ambulance when I had a migraine/hallucination at school because they thought I was having a seizure or a stroke. I've been taken to the emergency room four times this month alone, so my school is suggesting I take the semester off and try taking online classes until January and return to school then when I am healthier than I am right now. I'm just really worried that if I do take the semester off that universities will not consider me because I can't take Honors classes online. I'm currently a sophomore with all A's and 4.0 GPA. I'm taking Honors Algebra 2, Spanish 3, AP U.S. History, Biology, Chemistry, and Honors PreCalculus 10. My dream universities include the University of Michigan, Stanford, and Columbia. Will these schools automatically count me out because I'm not going to be in school for the first half of my sophomore year? Will they consider me a delinquent for taking online courses for the first half of my sophomore year?
