Thanks, @f4ngz77, and good luck to you too. It looks like CMC admissions were a little overwhelmed this year. I agree with @webfoot; I think that the awards will be sent in the mail with admission decisions and those decisions will come in March.

Hmmmm… If scholarship notification comes with admission letters in late March, that really doesn’t leave much time for CMC to fly students out before May 1. I mean, the college would have to give students few weeks warning to make arrangements, and it would probably take the college a few weeks to make decisions, and then the student needs a few weeks to decide and commit. Seems to me there isn’t enough time between April 1 and May 1…

Maybe they are following similar model as Harvey Mudd this year. Notifications end of March and then interview weekend 2nd week of April. Someone earlier mentioned that CMC was changing their scholarship weekend process this year so not surprised of lack of notifications now.

Good luck everyone!

I’ve sent an e-mail asking about this a couple weeks ago and the Associate Dean of Admission has said:
“I apologize for the confusion with our website; we are currently working on updating the remaining incorrect information regarding the scholarship process at CMC. We have changed how we award all of our scholarships this year. All students will be notified whether they received a scholarship, including the Seaver Scholarship, at the time of admission at the end of March. We are no longer requiring students to interview.”

Thanks for the info ccleoh73!

Well that settles that. Now we wait.

Just wondering whether the Merit-based scholarship decisions are announced yet?
Since the RD decisions are posted already.

Ds was awarded a merit scholarship.

Youdontsay, Congratulations! to your Ds.
How did she get notice? Did it mentioned in the decision posted on the site or a separated email?

@paryuk – The McKenna Achievement Award, at least, is mentioned in the decision posted on the site.

I’m not sure. He just told me about it.
