I'm looking for a Full Tuition or Full Ride Scholarship. I have a 29 composite score, that superscores to a 30. I'm an Alabama resident and have a 3.17 GPA. I want to major in nursing but can't find any nursing specific scholarships for freshman. Any help would be great!

Look at the stickied threads at the top of this forum. Did you overlook them?

According to the automatic scholarship thread, University of Arkansas at Monticello offers Full tuition + Room for a 3.0 GPA with a 27 or better ACT. The school offers both an A.A.S. and a B.S. in nursing. Good luck!

Jacksonville State University offers full tuition for 26-29 and it’s a great school. If you had a 30 you could get a complete full ride.

Howard has a full tuition scholarship for 3.0 HS GPA and 26 ACT: [Grants, Scholarships & Fellowships - Howard University](http://www.howard.edu/financialaid/grants_scholarships.htm#Freshman) . But it is first come first served until they run out of them.

But a point or few more on the ACT would qualify for more of them.

You’re close at Troy State. Do you have financial need? Would you be considered a URM at some schools? There are some schools that do have awards in such cases. SUNY Buffalo has the Daniel Acker Award, for instance.
