I got this email from a top uni asking me a number of questions about my course/program/credit-hours…I drafted a reply and sent it to my aunt who is herself an admission counselor and she edited it for me with blanks and brackets and highlights about grammatical errors, more info etc. I, being extremely stupid, sent it as it is to the university. I immediately sent an apology and an explanation. Should I ask my counselor to write an email to verify the account and bolster my case? Are my chances ruined? How bad is it? I am international student but I got decent test scores, extra-curriculars, etc…
@Mwfan1921 @MYOS1634 @MWolf sorry for asking the question in an unrelated thread before.
I would just send the correct info and start the email with a quick note explaining what happened. “Dear So and So, Please disregard the prior email. I hit send too soon and accidentally sent a draft. I apologize. My correct info is____”
I would not have anyone write an email for you. Mistakes happen. Just send what you need to.
