I want to become a meteorologist and I have already applied to many of the colleges that have great meteorology programs. But I'm having a hard time finding information about the programs all together. There isn't any ranking websites that rank meteorology colleges, and there just simply isn't a lot of information on it. What makes OU better than the rest? Any personal experience or information will really help me make my decision.

OU is the leading meteorology school. At least for severe weather research, I have applied at OU for a meteo major…while doing ROTC for officer in the Army. The VORTEX project was based in Norman, the NSSL is based there, some American branch for a world weather newshas a branch there, the NWS branch. NOAA has a strong presence there. Shoot, the building that the college of atmospheric sciences is in has quite a few .gov people working there. Great location in Norman too. Norman itself is great.
