Michigan 34 - Notre Dame 7...

and it is not even half time yet! Man, when Michigan beats Notre Dame, they really BEAT them! LOL!!!

Looking like it'll be 34-14 at half-time...

I saw that. I think we need to score on the first possession of the second half if we want to secure the win. A 20 point lead is pretty safe, but at Notre Dame, with a QB as good as Quinn and a coach as offensively minded as Weisz, it would safer to take a 27 point lead to start the second half.

where do you think we'll be ranked assuming we win? My bet's at #6.

It depends how Michigan wins. If we continue to dominate and finish the game with a 44-21 blowout, Michigan will leap to the top 5. However, if we somehow allow Notre Dame back in the game, even a victory will not get us far above the top 10 ranking.

gg

Yeah, after this win, Michigan will definitely be ranked in the top 8, but it could even make it higher should there be a couple of upsets (Tennessee over Florida and Nebraska over USC).

Florida State might lose tonight as well.

I asked whether we had a better defense this year ... and they most certainly answered that in the game.

Just one more question. Why did we have four(4) 15-yard penalties in the 4th quarter? ... the 2nd one on 4-and-9 and two more on the last drive! Were these all pass interference calls?

I think one pass interference and three late hit calls. One late hit call was highly questionable and another one was outright ludicrous.
