What can I say! Awesome game. We are still young and we make some mistakes. Our defense gave up some big plays in the first half and our offense had some troubles early on, butoverall, this banged up team played an inspired game. Tate Forcier is the real deal. His TD passes were excellent (both under great preasure), his TD run was excellent and his pooch punt was spot on. #22 Stonum did a great job too (94 yard kickoff return for TD and pooch punt stop at the Notre Dame 3 yard line). I hope his injury is minor. Speaking of Minor, he ran well, although he is obviously not at 100%.

Michigan should be 4-0 going into the thick of the Big 10 season, and should finish the season 7-5 or better (8-4 more like and 9-3 certainly not unthinkable).

It is great to be a Michigan Wolverine!

That game was intense. There were moments of celebration, and then moments of suspense. You never knew what to expect. MICHIGAN STATE, OHIO STATE, and NOTRE DAME HAVE LOST THEIR SECOND GAMES!!!GO BLUE! I really love this school. I can’t see myself being anywhere else. The pride is amazing, the academics are challenging, and the atmosphere is pleasant. Nothing better…

Entertainer, when you take overall campus atmosphere, school spirit, alumni pride and involvement, college town environment, academic excellent across all academic disciplines, athletic tradition, graduate school placement, research opportunities and professional placement, I can confidently say that Michigan is the most well-rounded university in the nation.

one of the best games in the last several years. they need to find a way to work Denard into the offense (special teams return, flanker, scat back etc.). The secondary needs to be firmed up and get turned around when the ball is coming. the defensive line needs to penetrate more on its own, make some big plays (sacks). That said, it’s hard to think many teams could do much against the O-line and receiver corps of ND. So yes, work to do to beat Penn State, Ohio State but certainly doable. It’s a tough schedule w/ Mich State, Wisconsin, Iowa ,Purdue as well. Hail to the Victors Valiant! Go Blue!

.500 ball the rest of the season gets them to 7-5, and a likely bowl game. Beat either Penn State or Ohio State (after the win over ND), and they are going to a real good bowl game. A few tweaks on defense, combined with the best special teams unit in all college football (I’m talking the Umich Student Section), and anything is possible. A healthy Brandon and a healthy receiving corps would make us very tough to beat in almost every game. Great job yesterday Blue!

I don’t ever remember it being as loud in the stadium as it was yesterday afternoon when Mathews caught the winning touchdown.

Yeah, it was ridiculously loud. The new stadium design is supposed to have something to do with the increased noise levels, but the most important factor is probably the memory of last season.

I’m glad to see us win a back-and-forth game. In the past, the Michigan football team has appeared to give up after surrendering the lead during a game. However, this Michigan team has shown that they can battle through to the end in a back-and-forth battle without losing morale, and I think that that quality will be very important throughout a season filled with tough opponents.
