are you serious?! cause i have been looking into it and i really don’t think i’ll get in. i’m only a junior so i have about 3/4 of a year left and three nine weeks to raise my grade. right now my cumulative gpa is 3.55-3.6 (i’m not positive) and i take all honors and AP. i’m going to work very hard the next two nine weeks. ever since i discovered U of M about a month ago I have been motivated to get in. do you know what GPA they generally accept?

yeah they generally want a 3.7 or above, unweighted, however, if you are taking all honors/AP, i’m sure they would lower the bar to about a 3.6 or a 3.5, and you also have to understand that this is what most applicants have, about 30% of people who get accepted have gpa’s or 3.5 or lower. So if you have a legitimate reason for a low gpa, they can let it slide. Or if you have something that separate’s you from the rest of the applicant pool, that is a good sign too. Like being a semifinalist in DECA or raising a significant amount of money to help a charity (Significant might mean around 8 thousand or 10 thousand), something like that.
