Michigan Learning Communities

When do we get notified of our decisions to the MLC's?

I know that the Honors program sends out a mail before the end of April to their applicants informing them of their decision.

The rest , I dont know.My guess is that either it is random , that is they notify the applicant as they get accepted into and MLC or you get to know in the first week of August along with the rest of your housing information. BUt this is only a guess.

Do all of the residential learning community dorms have singles/doubles/etc.? For example, if I prefer to live alone, would joining one of the MLC's prevent that?

MLC will get you WHAT YOU WANT, let me tell you that.

I aplied SO ****ING late for housing (like 2 weeks before)

I got accpeted to LHSP, and I got my SINGLE!! (ITS BIG)

Hey Chanman!
What did you have to do for your application to LHSP?????
Online? Mail? What questions/information did they require? Any essays??

Thx!!!

while you apply for housing, they ask you to optionally submit the essay

I have NO Idea what learningcommunities were, so I just wrote an essay about me wanting to join all of them. 1 paragraph for each one. LOL...

And they just put me in LHSP for some reason, which I thank them for choosing this for me!

(LHSP is the best learning community)

sorry honors, sorry HSSP :)

You can only choose like "Central/Hill" or "North campus" so I heard. Is that right? If so, that kinda sux =S Thats why I'm thinkin about applying to LHSP.

Did you apply to housing ONLINE?
