Did you pay again? I tried using the payment token bc msu said we didn’t have to pay again and it didn’t work… I filled out the tech survey and am hoping to be reconsidered
My son paid again. I had him do it just to save time and get past that screen. We will be asking for the refund for sure.
My son paid again too. I’m hoping they refund, even though paying an additional $15 for a shot at $200,000 is worth it. I’m a little worried though that it was already recording so the camera saw me walk into the room to give him my credit card. The room scan was after that though so hopefully it was ok.
I just finished the test. 1 hour and 30 minutes around. At the end, my camera was frozen so I had to deal with the PSI Technicians and everything, what a mess!
Agreed. My son basically said the same thing. He has several options right now including Michigan. Just waiting to see which school is going to give him the most in scholarships.

I heard they are refunding payment. It was a glitch. I’m sorry everyone had such difficulty. Out in California. it was an early wake up:) My son didn’t have problems but also finished quickly…which is always a wonder:) the parent info session was very helpful.
They said in the parent meeting that the test isn’t as key as the interview. I think it’s just to screen out those who are really interested. Not sure though.
I googled the test for responses from prior years, and the consensus is that it is a hard test that you cannot study for and there is a lot of guessing, so hopefully it makes him feel better knowing it is hard for everyone.

What interview is this? We are planning to attend the sessions next weekend.
I wasn’t aware of any interview. I thought the scholarships were solely determined based on the exam. Did they give any information about the interviews like when they’ll be held and if everyone gets one?
Interviews are offered only to a relatively select number of those who perform in the top tier on the exam. Only those candidates will have a shot at additional scholarships

Sorry. I posted and then turned off the computer! Apparently the interview is only for the big scholarship but the test alone can get you other opportunities and scholarships.
Does anyone know when ADS results will be sent out, like when we will know if we progressed to the next level?
I looked at the ADS topic from last year, and for the Class of 2024 they emailed those who were not advancing mid February, and sent information in the US mail to those who were advancing around 2/24. In addition, for those not advancing, there were additional scholarships still awarded in April.
I do not know if there will be a change this year with tests being online, and some gliches in the tests (adding another day for those who couldn’t access on the original day).
