Basically I just want to know the chances of me getting into MSU. I heard that colleges like improvement so my GPA trend is pretty good, I had a 3.4 sophomore year and it has went up every year. Most of my EC’s just have fancy titles but I didn’t do much in them. Also sorry if I was so vague on my GPA but currently my schools website is down so I can’t calculate my unweighted GPA. Thanks!

It’s not looking good. Grand Valley?

Yeah that was another option. However I plan on bringing my SAT up. I only took 1 SAT and didn’t study at all for it so I’m signed up for an October SAT and hopefully it will increase my chances at MSU but if not hopefully GVSU will take me.

GV will for sure take you. If you get your SAT way up you have a chance at State.

I think you’re in. The person above saying it doesn’t look good is reminding me of a Umich candidate. A 3.6 and the EC’s you have are great. I’m applying this year too. Good luck!

I’d say you have a pretty good shot!! It would be great if you brought your SAT up a bit to be more competitive but I’d also make sure to knock out the essay! I’m applying to MSU as well!! Good luck!!!
