I have been accepted to these three schools and currently I need help deciding between them. I am interested in studying business, but I am open to other studies. With regard to these three schools how are their undergraduate business programs? Do they open doors to internships, etc. I am also factoring in quality of college experience: weather, social life, professors. Feel free to give me your insight and I appreciate it

Factor Tulane out. Between Berkeley and Michigan, you really can’t go wrong with either. Michigan is more well rounded while Berkeley is more science/math oriented. As far as business goes, you really can’t go wrong with Michigan’s Ross business school.

California weather > Michigan weather any day of the week.

Social life wise, I’m not sure. I have two friends that go to Berkeley and they tell me (not to stereotype or anything) that Berkeley is full of Asians while Michigan is “decently” diverse. Michigan also has football which usually means tons of school spirit than most universities. I’m not sure about Berkeley in that aspect.

At the end of the day, both schools are awesome in their own rights.

I have heard nothing but great things about Ross School of Business, however I am worried about admission into their school of business. How selective are they? Also I wonder if undergraduate degrees even have that much of an impact. I feel that MBA’s are almost a necessity. Would employers look at a graduate of Ross any different?

I visited Michigan and loved everything about it except their weather. I fear that I cannot adapt to the constant snow/cold. Have you ever had issues walking around campus because of weather?

Thanks again

While this is true, it’s not like Berkeley is in SoCal. It’s in NorCal. It’s raining a lot. At least with Michigan, you get a real winter, instead of just nasty rain.

…really CC mods…
