How useful are the micro fridges? Should I get one?
I would personally get one just because the communal fridges are extremely untrustworthy. If you leave a pizza in there overnight, by the morning it’ll be gone. Mini Fridges are useful for storing food from marketplace (technically, you’re not allowed to tupperware food at marketplace, but no one actually enforces it). Just be careful when defrosting it when you go on winter break, or you’ll get a very wet floor.
Just make sure you follow your dorm guidelines for dimensions/power - they were very strict about that at my son’s school and a number of folks just brought one without checking the dorm requirements.
