Microsoft Office 2003

I read this from
California Institute of Technology's thread
yet another computer thread
Caltech has some major software available free of charge under site license programs. The important packages are Microsoft Office.

here are questions regarding to Microsoft Office 2003 in UCI:

1) Does UCI offer students same kinds free download for Microsoft Office?
2) if not, does UCI store offers good discount for Microsoft Office. So far, I only see the Microsoft Office pro edition listed in UCI store. how about
student/teacher edition?
3) Is student edition good enough for Social or the Econ major? It does not include Access 2003. Does Access used much bu studentsr?

Pirate Microsoft Office 2003, maybe? It'll probably take under an hour on bitTorrent.

Not talking Pirate software, please.

I know that many schools offer their students major software free of charge or deep discount under site license. here is another example:

Any University of Texas at Austin student can get educational discounts on Microsoft software -- ($20 - $30 for Office)
see The University of Texas at Austin thread:
Student discount software?

Just wonder if UCI offers some kind?

haha, i have the information right next to me. i dunno if it helps though
"have ..Microsoft Office, which retails for $499, for only $99." Not as cheap as texas, but still a considerable discount.
