Microsoft Office 91% student discount

Found a great student discount website that is offering 91% off Microsoft office... check out StudentRate.com and search 'microsoft.' It's the first deal to pop up. Or you can just click here... cheers to being a student!!

StudentRate - Deal / Microsoft Office Student Discounts

Microsoft’s website has that too. You don’t have to buy from a random place. Just go to the “Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007” and it has a link to buy it for 91% off.

I bought it with that discount from my school. They have some agreement with microsoft that you can buy software for like ridiculously cheap.

Well, it does link to Microsoft’s website.

And I got it last August from Microsoft’s website, and I’m so glad I did. My school offers Ultimate for $237.75, so this is far cheaper. Office Standard was even $132.86, so this was cheaper than anything my school offered. :] I’m really glad I saw that on this site when I did.

Ha. Microsoft is desperate. I guess those torrents are killing Office sales?

And if they didn’t, you would complain they were gouging poor college students, and kids were justified in illegally downloading the software.

Even if illegal downloads are having an impact, at least give them credit for making the software affordable for poor college students.

Openoffice is free and is pretty much the same exact thing as microsoft office.

Yeah, I use OpenOffice and it works just fine.

I tried OpenOffice.org…I just prefer Microsoft Office.

I definitely used the Ultimate Steal, but check your university first. Both my alma mater and my current university offer limited packages of Microsoft Office free for download (they usually include Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and sometimes Outlook, Publisher, and/or Access). I used the Ultimate Steal because I wanted OneNote, which is a great note-taking program.

Has anyone used that website to buy stuff?

^I did. As I stated in my post above. :stuck_out_tongue: It just redirects to Microsoft’s website.
