<p>The midyear report asks the Counselor to :“Attach applicant’s official transcript”.
So it does include 1st semester grades.</p>

<p>Well, at my school the initial counselor report includes the official transcript, which our counselors upload through Common App. Our counselors also take care of the mid-year report, and are able to upload the official transcript (which I’d assume is viewed as official by schools, since this is the way my school has been doing this for years, and of course students get into college. ;))</p>
