Hello! I’m a senior in High School, and i have already applied to a few schools. I am worried that schools will look down on my mid year report (especially if i get accepted to the EA schools) because my grades are not as good (more b’s and less a’s). This isn’t because of lack of trying though, I have new leadership positions in some clubs and i’m taking much harder classes (2nd year engineering courses, more AP’s etc.) because i finally got enough prerequisites to take the classes i wanted to take. Will universities understand this? I am getting better, but it’s all still a learning experience. Thanks for the help!
First, a few more Bs aren’t a problem. Cs and Ds would be. Second, do NOT prioritize clubs above your grades. Schools will NOT understand that.
