I understand that lehigh requires midyear report
But the thing is that my gpa is atrocious,
I don't know how it happened, and really regretting now that I took maybe too many AP classes

my question is that does midyear report really a big part?
I really hope its not though

hey zinny, im having the same problem and question. i think based on what my guidance counselor told me, lehigh will receive a mid year report that has your 1,2 marking period grades and midterm scores. she also said that she's only seen 1 person in her eight years at the high school be rejected after getting in ed. (this was to johns hopkins). im kinda at a loss here to.. as of now im pretty much all b and a but a c in ap english, which i dont know how it happened. i really hope they downplay this report and don't look at it too hard!

lol i have the exact samme problem. my second marking period is horrendous. I have a C+ in ap calc and then prolly some kinda C in ap chemistry then like two Bs and the rest are As. I'm all over the board so like I'm hoping it really doesn't affect anything...my guidance counselor said he really didn't know anyone who got rejected because of their midyear

i'm having a similar issue with my midyear grades being poor.

there is a difference between getting an ED revoked and getting Accepted. If someone is accepted already, the midyr report has to be reallyyy bad in order for the college to revoke their acceptance. However, if they are initially reviewing the candidate, i'm assuming its a lot easier to reject someone with poor midyr grades.

i'm hoping that a C+ and a B- in two AP classes don't destroy my chances...the rest of my grades are good in AP and honors.
