Mid year update?

My daughter can’t decide if she should send one out (to both RD and accepted EA schools still waiting on financial aid packages.)

Are these updates “worthy” enough to send an update?
— Qualified as an individual for the state xc tournament. Awarded Academic All State and MVP
— Nominated as a US presidential scholar
— Published the literary magazine she founded this year. Would it be appropriate to send an online link?

She can’t decide and has been going back and forth about it for weeks. Time is ticking and I’m not sure how to advise her.

I would have her send a Letter of Continued Interest to her RD schools including all the info above, but wait until mid-February, going off of what admissions counselors on the reddit A2C forum say.
