Hi, I've had pretty much all A's in high school. But the mid years we're supposed to send this year, if I have 2 or 3 B's on them, can they break me?

I don't think B's will hurt you. But, I do have a C in BC Calc right now that's worrying me a great deal :/

Falling into a first-semester slump is quite common. Cross your fingers and hope for the best-- there's no way for me to be able to answer your question!

I don't think that it will destroy your application. My child, who was deferred a couple of years ago, got in regular admission after getting some of her worst grades mid term senior year ( a C in calculus and a couple of low B's among them). They will still look at the whole application.

Well, I'd be a little twitchier this year, especially as we don't know the RD numbers. As newenglandparent stated, admissions looks at the whole application. But this year, I think that if your (or your child's) midyears were disappointing, I would look at my whole list and make sure it had really solid likely-matchy options.
