Middlebury 2013 RD Discussion

And I thought I was the only one  HAHA

Yes we wereee :P

Gloria Jeans DHA? :P

Yesss. :open_mouth: January 25th.

@sheza Ya I hope that’s it! I have submitted my CommonApp and Midd Supplement a few days (probably a week or so) before the deadline.

Don’t worryyy. I was actually surprised; Midd is a very high reach for me. So it probably means nothing. Good luck! :D

Errrm nope!
It was 23rd of Jan

Mine was 25th. How’d it go?

Good Luck to you too.
You never know anything for sure with these US admissions
Btw which school are you from? :O

Haha It’s a high reach for me too (more so because I need 80-85% FA). I am not worried specifically about Midd. I am worried that I may be rejected everywhere!

Well, she was quite a nice lady and I really enjoyed the conversation.
Yes, it was more of a conversation
I had done some research and she did look impressed :D

@hopingforbetter, you won’t believe it but I actually feel exactly the same! I don’t really have any assured safety so yeah (that was dumb of me :P). And I’m looking for a lot of aid too. Let’s see!

@Maaz, I know, right? She was pretty nice.
What school are you from? I’m on a gap year currently (so I didn’t apply through any school) but I was in beaconhouse liberty for my A levels.

For people like us who ask for a lot of aid, I don’t think there are any assured safeties! I’d have surely applied if there was any.

HAHA. I guess that’s what interviewers usually ought to be: nice! :stuck_out_tongue:
Gap year must be quite a different experience I guess.
I am from LGS JT :)

Hey sheza and Maaz, do all Pakistanis(Sorry if this has to spelled in some other way) study the Cambridge IGCSEs??

Nope. We are just a fraction. The rest follow the national system

And I dont think ours is IGCSE either!

^then what is it? I thought all A-levels would be IGCSEs:o

A Levels IS IGCSE O.o But yes it’s just a fraction of people here who study it. The rest is the Matriculation system and a couple of schools follow the American system, too.

@Maaz, I do know a couple of people from JT. Through the MUN circuit.
And gap year is way too boring. -_-
