Midyear Grades

Ok so it doesn't look to good for me right now because it looks like I am going to get a 3.8 UW and worst of all a B+ (3.5) instead of an A in the subject (government) that I said was my prospective major. However, I am taking 6 AP classes this year with one class that covers US government in one semester and comparitive in the next one. I am afraid my chances of being accepted have taken a hard hit. I was wondering to what extent Cornell weighs these grades. For reference my GPA for 3 years UW is 3.7 under a competitive grading scale where it is 94-100 for an A. My composite SAT is 1440.

I think you're GPA is fine. Relax, the application process is practically done so just sit tight.

Practically done? I thought they didn't even start reviewing RD apps yet?

I'm worried about my mid-year report too.
All of my grades were A's and A+'s, except for one B.
Meh.

chill out everybody, one B wont kill anyone
