So my midyear report is being sent this Friday. And so far, I have gotten straight A's. My current uw GPA is ...not great, because I transferred schools and my GPA got transferred into another scale. But right now I'm pretty sure I have a 4.0 (uw). It should up my GPA to a 3.7-8.

Do you think this can help at all? Or will it be too late?

Congratulations on your accomplishment. Your hard work has paid off. Many students have a slight dip senior year (for any number of reasons--overloaded with activities and college apps, harder classes, "senioritis") so this may be a factor that helps your chances a little.

it will help only if you had a realistic shot to the colleges you're applying. i mean if you are obviously a reach to harvard, for instance (hypothetically speaking since i dont kno ur stats), then a stellar midyear report like the one you have wont help.
