Midyear Report

Okay, so this is probably a really stupid question but I'm kind of freaking out right now. I was accepted ED to Trinity, and I know you have to send in your midyear grade report. As of now, I have an 80 in AP Calculus BC - the lowest grade I've ever gotten - and no chance to bring it up. I have A's in every other class - 99 (AP Lit), 99 (Honors Spanish 4), 93 (AP Chem), 97 (Honors Physics), 98 (AP Gov), 97 (AP Euro). They're not going to revoke my acceptance, are they? I swear I'm going to work my butt off next marking period. Grr... I hate Calc. Anyway, I'm having a major freak out so any advice would be appreciated :)

C or above and you are fine is the rule of thumb.

no you will not. Does your school go based on a/b/c/d/f system? as long as an 80% is still a “B” grade, you have no need to worry. Even if it is a C or you only have numerical grades, its still nothing to worry about in light of your other grades.

Our report cards for each individual marking period show the numeric grade, but our final report cards show only the letter grade. I’m not sure how it would show up on the midyear report - either B- or 80.

how do we even send in the MYR? it says you can do it from common app but i dont see anything there

Your counselor can upload the report to Common App, or you can print out the PDF and mail it to Duke:

https://www.commonapp.org/CommonApp/Docs/DownloadForms/2012/2012MidYear_download.pdf

^ahh. will commonapp notify our counselors? Or do we have to go in and tell them to send it for us?

You’ll need to ask your counselor to send it in.
