Midyear Report

I'm an Indian student studying under CBSE curriculum. I recently gave APs and SAT2 which coincided with my first term exams. As a result, I really messed up my first term exams. Is it possible to only send universities a freshmen, sophomore and junior year transcript along with a projected score for my senior year?
All my other grade scores have been great except for this first term exam which will give my mid year report. Is it possible to not give universities these scores?

A mid-year report is one of the required documents in an applicant’s file – that’s true even for students that apply early and are accepted. Colleges DO NOT accept “projected end of senior year scores” or anything that is not an “official” mid-year report from your high school. If your high school does not send in a mid-year report your application will be considered to be incomplete and Admissions will not render a decision.

Alright. How badly will my mid-year report affect my overall application?
Given that I’ve got 2160 in my SAT1 and am expecting my SAT2 and AP results in June and July respectively.
Also, that I topped my class in sophomore and junior year. I mean I have done alright in school all throughout barring this one examination.

First off, as an international student from India you must realize that your chances are not the same as those for US students – that’s true no matter where you apply and what stats you have . For example, at colleges like Harvard, which admits about 1660 students, only 5 of them are from India in any given year. So, you’re not competing against all other students from the US or other countries, but against all other students from India for those slots.

So, the question to ask yourself: how do you stack up against your fellow countrymen? I can’t answer that question, nor can I predict how your mid-year report will effect your chances.

I see. Thanks for your help.
