How badly can you do on this and still be competitive?

I'm asking because I am shaky with one of my courses...

I am expecting:

AP Calc AB: A
AP Physics B: A+
Latin 4 H: A+

and I'm solid on those, but I worry about AP Lit. I feel like I could drop to a B+ or a high B. How bad is that?

Isn't it still a long way until mid-year reports? I thought most were December and January. That would give you plenty of time to bring up your grade if you are worried about it. As for "how bad" it is, it would depend on where you are applying. Some schools do not request mid-year reports. EA and ED applications would not use them. Very selective schools would expect higher GPA than less-selective schools. In general, you would hope for mid-year grades as good as you have earned up until then.

I'm doing two EAs, so they don't want it. But my other schools do! My school runs on a trimester schedule, so my Mid Year report would be done by the end of November....

That still gives you nine weeks. (And btw, three As and one B isn't at all what anyone would consider "bad!") If you are concerned about your AP Lit grade, go in tomorrow to talk to the teacher. Ask what you can do between now and the end of November to improve your grade. He/she will probably tell you that you are doing just fine, but may have a few suggestions. TAKE the suggestions!
Good luck!
