Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone can give me any advice.
I've been accepted to UCR and planning to go there in the fall 2012. I'm currently enrolled in 16 units because I was lacking units and shoved everything for the spring semester before transfer. There is a class I'm taking where the professor doesn't teach the class, and does not care about the students at all. I tried to e-mail him for some help about the class but he never responded. I bombed the first midterm even though I studied. According to his syllabus, there's only a midterm, a final, and a final research proposal for the class. There is no attendance and homework for the class. I'm worried that I might get a D for the class and then UCR will see that and most likely rescind me? What can I do? Please let me know thanks.

If he/she doesnt respond to your email, go up to him or her directly after/before class or during office hours.

track him down, visit his house, etc. jkjkjk IT DEPENDS ON UR ADMISSION! try visiting his office hours

If its a persistent issue and the professor never responds, shows up to class, etc., you could always bring it to the dean of student’s attention. I’m pretty sure they handle those sorts of issues.
