MIght have to have my 2nd W? How bad will this look for transfer for a CSU? please help

So im a sophomore in community college, looking to transfer to Cal State LA. I am failing my stats class pretty bad and I have to make the decision by the end of this week if I will continue to take the class or not. My current grade is probably at a 40%, and theres about an 80% chance id say that I might fail, and a 90% chance id get a D and talked to my professor about it after i failed my first test and he agreed that i am in a tough situation. I already withdrew from my first class last year because I had to find a job which didn't work with my schedule and I swore I will never do it again. Now im in a situation where I am failing and will probably end up with an F. This week was college fair at my school and the CSULA admission rep was there and she told me because my major is so impacted, whoever gets admitted is based on GPA. Right now my GPA sits at a 3.27 and I have As in my other three classes but I know for a fact this stats class will drop my GPA. I heard too many Ws may make you look like a quitter. How much is too many? I retook the first class I withdrew from over summer and I plan to retake the class my stats class if I drop it, if that helps. IS it better to receive and F in this situation than it is to get a W. Should I just stick it out and get bad grade then just retake. How bad will two Ws look to other Cal States when I transfer? I know I should avoid Ws at all cost and I plan to keep them to a minimum. Im so disappointed in myself, Please help

Correction: I talked to him after i failed my second test which he gave back a week and a half ago

My next test is literally two days after the Withdrawal deadline which sucks so I wouldnt be able to base it off what I get next test :(

I had like three W’s on my transcripts and got into Cal State Fullerton (Kinesiology) and SJSU (Biology; Systems Physiology), both majors are pretty impacted. My gpa is around 3.3. I would say drop the class… I think a W is better than an F on a transcript. Even if you re-take the class the F will still be on your transcripts. I even have friends who got into UCLA with a few W’s. I’d say just drop the class and re-take it next semester, get a tutor, and make sure you get an A! You don’t want and D’s or F’s on your transcripts, two or three W’s shouldn’t hurt you in getting into CSULA.
