What's the minimum amount of credits that need to be taken at CCC to transfer over to UC with priority?

60 or they won't look at your app

You need 60units to be a junior level transfer.

you need 30 units from a CC to recieve CC transfer priority.

"The University of California gives priority consideration for admission to all California Community College students over other types of transfer students. The definition of a California community college student for admission purposes only is:
Student was enrolled at one or more of California Community Colleges for at least two terms (excluding summer sessions);
The last college student attended before admission to a UC campus was a California Community College (excluding summer sessions); and
Student has completed at least 30 semester (45 quarter) UC transferable units at one or more California Community Colleges."

I have 45 units as of fall 2008 and in spring 2009 I have 12 units planned, bring my total to 57 units. I also took one AP test in HS, AP calc and got a 5, should I be okay?

Pootie562, I think you should be okay, but you may want to call or email some of these UC's to be sure that an AP will count as 3 or 4 semester units.

I heard from someone that UC's will usually contact you via email if you don't have at least 60 units and ask you to enroll in a spring class or cancel your application. I could be very wrong though...it's also possible they will just reject you and not give you a chance to add a class.

I also got a 3 in an ap psych class do you think that could cover the 3 unit shortage?
