<p>(Long time listener, first time poster. Also, thanks for reading!)
I'm hoping to receive comments, suggestions, critiques for getting into Penn State-University Park and also Cornell if possible.</p>

I plan to major in Biology</p>

<p>GPA: 3.6 (unweighted)
Rank: Top 10% of 500 students
ACT: 30
I've taken 4 AP classes thus far, and am signed up for 5 AP classes next year. (not sure if the specific classes matter, so I won't post them unless requested.)</p>

<p>Extracurriculars___
Founder/President of club geared towards Animal Rights we raised money to hold a nonprofit open house of sorts (free checkups from local veterinarians, info. packets, etc.)
Vice President of Future Educator's of America we routinely tutor elementary kids.
FBLA member for 2 years
Interact member for 2 years (routinely make sandwiches for the homeless)
Latin Honor Society for 2 years
*three other clubs, but they lack any real substance.</p>

I've worked at a library for a year (ongoing)</p>

<p>I’d say you will be fine. </p>

<p>PSU looks at your weighted GPA so I expect it to be a little bit higher than 3.6. In either case your ACT score will add more to your chances.</p>
