I am in the first year of the IB program at the number 1 school in the Bahamas. Do you guys know of any minimum results that would warrant a good chance of admission at Mcgill

"International Baccalaureate Diploma

The International Baccalaureate diploma with grades of 5 or better on all Higher and Standard Level examinations is the expected minimum for most programs. Some programs are more competitive and require higher grades. If you have an overall score equal to or better than 32 points, and have one grade below 5, you might be considered if you have several grades of 6 or better to compensate."

Like you asked, this is 'the minimum'. But that usually doesn't cut it, especially if you apply for one of the more competitive programs. Your predicted grades are more important than anything, aim for 39+ for that. Good luck!
ps. (I have a couple friends from the Caribbean here, and they definitely say it's easier to get in as an International student than say a student from Ontario. So relax! You'll probably make the cut.)

I hope so. I can probably get like 3 7's. I want to do engineering. Do you know what is Mcgill's policy on GCE equivalents because that is the used program in every other school over here. In my school we do it a year earlier and i got 7 A's and one B. Would they take this into consideration and how much so. Over here most ppl do very poorly on them and would Mcgill compare me to other students because a few students from here went to Mcgill and I had much better qualifications.

This is what I know- (I take a lot of first year science classes with Engineers)- Your GCEs don't really count, they focus more on your more recent achievements. To you it feels recent, because you're still in IB1, but by the time you come here (provided you don't change your mind) the GCEs will be old news. People I know who did GCEs went on to do A-levels after, and that's what admissions considered.

Since we don't do A-Levels I guess my IB results are what my acceptance will depend on. Thanks for the help.
