I think anything above like 140k and I'll be okay.

Give me a hot wife and 30 k and I’ll be just dandy.

Enough to build a enthusiast level PC for whenever new hardware comes out. Gotta stay on top of the GPUs/CPUs.

You wouldn’t be happy with 130k?

If I can have an apartment, food, and a job I love I’ll be happy.
(living in a metropolis like NYC or Tokyo an apartment could be very $$$ T_T)

Enough for me to be financially comfortable.

Enough money to have a pretty good house, to have food on the table, and to take a vacation every now and then without stressing over the bills.

Enough to build a minimalist ultra modern house (doesn’t have to be big)
and be a world traveler, like at least 20 countries.

100,000. That’d be good.

I’m a happy person, so I’ll be happy regardless.
However, I don’t think I’ll be satisfied with less than 100k.

$0

Money doesn’t matter, people just think it does.

Likewise, I refuse to be rich, or have more than I need, when others have too little.

I grew up with parents whose combined income was around $25k a year. We were happy.

I also partially grew up with my aunt and uncle whose yearly income was 7 digits. They were miserable.

I don’t need money to be happy. As long as I can put food on the table and a roof over my head, the rest is just for “things” that mask people’s unhappiness.

This is a stupid thread. There’s more to a job than salary. I’d be much happier making $70k a year, working a comfortable 40 hour week, and starting/taking care of my family than making $140k a year, working 80 hours a week and never having time to start/take care of my family.

How much money you need for a comfortable life depends on the cost of living in your area.

In a place like Oklahoma 45K may be sufficient.

But in NYC I’d need around 120K.

Enough to buy my mama anything she wants. Anything under $300G’s isn’t going to put bread on the table
