As the title says, what is your ideal yearly salary to live comfortably?

I was looking up jobs in psychology recently and I feel like there are many jobs I would like to do, but the salary is lower than other jobs. I want a job that I can enjoy, but also one with a modest or somewhat high salary. I know I won't be a lawyer or a psychiatrist, I don't think I would handle the stress very well. I would say my realistic ideal salary is 50,000-60,000 US currency is my ideal, of course higher than that is fine as well.

Well look at it this way, in a few years life will get more expensive, add some inflation, and a salary of over $250,000+ is truly a comfortable salary. If you plan to live in a city of course.

Single or married, you can list a different price for each one. Yeah, I forgot to factor in inflation for it, that’s my current wish. I don’t know how much It would inflate to by the time I even get a job :o

You guys sound hilariously ignorant…haha “300-400k”. Must be nice to be rich. I agree with the original poster. 50-60k sounds like just enough.

A single person can live with $50k but not in a big city. $70+ is comfortable for a single person, $150-200k for a couple, and over $250+ with a child, add more per child.
