Hey,
I’m a science major and I’m hoping for a career in med school. I have a lot of electives and I really enjoy computer science. I’m considering taking CS for a minor but idk how useful that is for a science student. Any thoughts??

Computer Science is useful for just about anyone. Plus, it’s super useful cause if you take the right courses and learn about database or network administration, you can easily get a job in case things go wrong, especially if you’re thinking about med school, which is super competitive.
I’m a science major (neuroscience) with a minor in computer science. Programming is a really useful skill to have in science and can really make you stand out from science students without the computational/programming background. How useful it will be for medical school, I can’t say. I do agree that it’s a useful life skill, and I also find it to be a lot of fun.
