I've pretty much decided I'm majoring in Economics. I've always had the intention of majoring in Biology as well, but my main interests have shifted to Econ.

However, I still would like to pursue Biology and am thinking of minoring in it. I'll most likely go into business upon graduation(don't know which field yet, exactly), so everyone around me tells me minoring in biology would be quite useless.

Any opinions on this? I've heard that if I have SOME biology background, it may give me a leg up in getting a job in fields such as biotech/research investment. Thanks in advance to everyone who responds!
