Minoring in SEAS

As several people have told me in other posts, it appears very difficult to transfer from SEAS to CC. Or at least, as difficult as it would be to transfer from another school.

So, I was wondering if I can't change my major to one in CC, how difficult is it to minor in something in CC? Looking at SEAS's bulletin, it sounds like it's not rare for people to minor in more than one subject:

"No substitutions or changes of any kind from the approved minors are permitted (see lists below). No appeal for changes will be granted. **Please note that the same courses may not be used to satisfy the requirements of more than one minor. **No courses taken for pass/fail may be counted for a minor. Minimum GPA for the minor is 2.0. Departments outside SEAS have no responsibility for nonengineering minors offered by SEAS." http://www.engineering.columbia.edu/bulletin/minor/

Is minoring for a SEAS student common? Is it very difficult? Are there many who minor in more than one subject? Thanks in advance!

bump......

sorry for bumping this up again.
