"miracle" story UCF 2013

ilovethe47, don’t be rude. Just because you have differing religious/spiritual views doesn’t mean you can bash on others, or their success. Your posts are extremely sarcastic, usually demeaning and unhelpful. The OP is just trying to give hope to others who may doubt their acceptance into UCF.

Congrats on the acceptance!

Appreciate it @KamisAngel

Hey guys i got deffered :frowning:
But i think there is still hope
My first semester of senior year is ending this friday and im looking at a 3.71 for this semester

U think that will help

actually got a descion quicker than most of my friends u think that is a good thing

im actaully thinking of emailing one of the head honchos
who did u guys Joshua who did u email

Oh sorry, I emailed Mr. Gordon Chavis…he’s top dog

Hey Joshua, I’m not sure if you still go on this thread but I’m still waiting. From the dates you posted this it looks like your a freshman at UCF, I’m still a senior at high school. UCF is my dream school… I applied early and still not a single word. I was going to take your advice to e-mail Mr. Gordon, but it seems like his e-mail isn’t posted on the UCF websites, the others are but not his. Should I still contact the other Undergraduate Admissions Team? There’s 3 in all, and one of them is Gordon of course, but do you happen to have his e-mail? I hope you still look at this site… I could really use the help.

Never mind, I found his e-mail. And sorry for the confusion, I’m completed new to this website trying to find help. Anyways, I still have a question. When you e-mailed him, did you like pour out your heart? Like an essay? I’m not sure how to do this, I know how to pour my heart but I don’t want to be unprofessional.

Suggestion –
Begging like a sick puppy will not gain you admission into college ( possibly for FSU ); try achieving your goal with an excellent academic record, just a thought.

Nick, my son emailed Ms Costello letting her know he wanted to be considered for the honors college, and the longer it takes for UCF to make a decision, the less chances he had. Within a few days he was accepted to both, UCF and the Burnett. So email them with no fear. If you are a good candidate, they will expedite your admission because they see you are interested.

1 to Nick, I’m a senior in HS too and I hope you get in.

2 to ilovethe47 when did pouring your heart out in a email become begging like a dog, yea definitely not the same so just to clear up the confusion, I would say that you can email UCF and just explain what UCF can do for you and how you will benefit from the experience.

Hope this helps and GOD BLESS

Josh, I’ve tried e-mailing Dr. Chavis but he never responded.

If not Dr. Chavis then try others on the admissions team

Try emailing Ms. Costello, she replied to my son the same day he emailed her. He email address is on the website.

I e-mailed Ms. Costello but she’s out of the office. Now I fear she won’t read my email. /

Calm down. It’s an email. She’ll see it.

I too have emailed chavis but no word yet in a day I had you think it’s a good idea to email the other people
