I applied to Wellesley College regular decision and assumed the forms would be due at the beginning of February.
But I just checked and I think I missed the deadline to turn in my FAFSA.
Does anybody know if it was due January 15th for sure? Or am I screwed?

FAFSAs can’t realistically be due the 15th of January, because not everybody’s even gotten their W-2s yet by then. (I know I haven’t)

If that’s really what they mean, they’re crazy.
I’d call the FA office and ask.

But I’d also start my FAFSA, estimating numbers to see what I can expect to contribute, etc.

I did the same exact thing!! I’m so afraid that they’ll decide not to give me aid now…

Yes…the deadline CAN be january 15 and yes the FAFSA should be done with estimates if that is the case.

According to the Wellesley website both the Profile AND the FAFSA had deadlines for submission of January 15.

Call the school and find out what to do since clearly you missed the deadline.

Colgate’s CSS Profile deadline also was Jan 15th. When I called the fin. aid office, the woman I spoke with was very nice and said no problem – that there were plenty of other people in the same boat, and just to get it in as soon as possible. Ours was 10 days late.
