So along with lots of other people apparently, I had no clue Cornell wanted their stuff so soon, January 2nd. I'm worried even though I've heard financial aid offices are more forgiving about deadlines. If i mail submit the Cornell form online today, mail the documents tomorrow, and submit the css profile by the weekend, will i be penalized or will they not care and still consider me for aid (provided that i get in of course)?

January 7, 2010: Financial Aid Application Deadline
Regular Decision Freshman applicants may still submit applications for financial aid for the 2010-2011. The January 2nd priority filing deadline exists so we can provide you with a timely notification in April. If you haven’t sent application documents to Cornell, do so as soon as possible, but please realize that you may not receive your aid notification with the first batch that is sent in early April.

o wow thank you so much! I can finally relax now lol.

Yes, thanks so much! We’ve been frantically trying to get the financial aid app together, and even though I’ve been on the Cornell website a lot, I missed that announcement.
Thank you!
