I'm afraid that my health form is going to be mailed a day after the deadline.. I already was accepted to the college and will be a freshman in the fall. I had some family circumstances, and completely forgot that I had to bring the form to my doctor and mail it in by july 1st... do you think it will be a big deal that it gets there on the 3rd?

No worries. They're going to have a huge pile of health forms to sort through anyway, so it shouldn't matter if yours is mailed a day late as long as it gets there well before you do.

Mine was mailed more than a month late but they said that the deadline was not a big deal b/c they just need the forms before you can register for classes/start classes in the fall. I don't think it will be a big deal.

You're not going to be the only one (they're probably going to be trying to get some of the forms all the way up until registration), and the school is not going to want to lose your tuition money over something this minor.

In college there are real deadlines with real consequences if you miss them, but this isn't likely to be one of them.

If you are really worried about it, see if you can fax it to them.

I doubt they will send you away because it was a day late. If it came time for school to start and you still hadn't sent it in, that may be a different story....

i wouldnt just fax it, but call them -- i'm sure it will be fine from what others say, but just be certain...
