From the letter I got from Brandeis, it seems that they really stress the interview. Since it’s too late for me to schedule one, I was thinking of sending that letter to them that they recommended (the one in which you tell them what you would have said in an interview). Firstly, is anyone else sending that letter? Secondly, I haven’t had an interview with any college, so I really don’t know what kind of stuff I should say in such a letter. Any advice?

I asked for the interview in Mid-december, and went on the last week of december. It was very comfortable and we just talked about anything and everything. A bit part that I noticed from the 2 interviews I've had with 2 diff colleges was that there was a difference in who did the interview. With the lady from Brandeis, we hit it off right away and we talked for about an hour and a half. She was excited and impressed and I enjoyed it. With the other interview though, the guy seemed to have had a long day and was a tough crowd. I talked to him, told him various things and he just sort of acknowledged me and nodded a bit. Definitely didn't go as well as with the Brandeis lady. And advice, be yourself. Have a good time, smile and don't try too hard. Also, make sure you know about the school.
