Missing application items

Hi, I applied in late December for a spot in Chapman's Creative Producing major at Dodge and today I received a letter asking for my Departmental Application and my two Departmental essays. However, I know that I submitted those as attachments to the Common App Supplement, as directed on the CA. Did this happen to anyone else? Should I do anything?

I would recommend just calling them tomorrow when the office of admission is open. Then you can talk to someone, because they might just have ur files mixed up somewhere

Foxhound, my D’s application experience with Chapman shows them to be very efficient with document processing. If they say something is missing, I would definitely call and see what is going on. Look up your admissions counselor on the website and call him/her directly.

I sent in all of the missing application materials on the 13th via snail mail and they still show up as NOT RECEIVED on the online app check. Is this normal?

Foxhound, you are not the only one with missing items. Everything sent by mail, FAX or e-mail has to be sorted and scanned. It can be weeks. Call your admissions councillor, they may be able to suggest an alternative means of getting the information. Since you had attached it to the Common App, it may just be misplaced.
