Missing Documents Question

Will Brown notify me via email if parts of your application are missing, or is it my responsibility to check my own status on their website?

You should check your status on their website.

I checked mine yesterday, just to make sure they had gotten my midyear report. My school has a terrible habit of not sending midyear reports out until about a month after grades come out.

I lost my password though and it's Saturday so I can't call...

Were you missing anything?

I'd been checking my status obsessively and noticing that one of my teacher recs was NOT POPPING UP, so I called them and they said they'd sent me a letter (which I'd gotten a week or two later).. but to fax in the missing documents.

Do call ASAP for your pw, though.

I think they will probably email you if anything is missing.
Like, I got an email from Columbia a few weeks ago, telling me that some parts of my app were missing (actually...practically my whole app was missing), and that i should fax them before march..the fact is I had only sent part 1 of their app in Dec, before getting in ed at brown..with no intention of ever completing the app

Luckily, my school sent my midyear report, only a month after our grades came out. Last year, they didn't send one of my friend's midyear report to Stanford until mid-March.

You should call on Monday, and email them today. I don't know if they list an email address on the website or not.
