Do they take attendance? What even takes place in the orientation? It honestly doesn’t seem very necessary, since there is a freshman orientation the very next day. I’d rather go to one of the pre-orientation programs that overlaps with the mandatory international student orientation. SOAR and Crossroads sound amazing. Is this a possibility/will they notice and stop me? I’m honestly scared of being stuck in the “international bubble” while other students are out there already forming friends, especially with all the self-segregation stuff I’ve heard about Emory.
