Missing parts of application e-mail = ready to reject you?

So I got an e-mail from pace about a missing part of my application. I know what part I’m missing, and I’m getting these from a ton of colleges (I already sent it in, it’s just processing), but do you think this means they’re ready to reject me from the musical theatre program? I’ve heard that the longer you don’t hear from them, the better the outcome it is. Is the admissions office just doing their job on the academic part of it or do you think they sent this e-mail because they want to tell me I’m not in?

I just auditioned this Saturday in LA, btw.

Is it an academic something, like test scores or mid-year report or transcripts? Admissions has to have the complete package to make an academic decision (often completely separate from the artistic admission process). If all of your schools are looking for this piece, and you know you’ve sent it, relax (but check to make sure there were no glitches in processing it). Rejections or acceptances are clear cut (well, there’s deferrals and waitlists, but that’s something else all together…). You will receive notification from MT as to the results, which I believe don’t come out until March. Pace also send academic admission/rejection information separately. Some schools cannot artistically consider you unless ALL the application pieces are there…

So sit back, enjoy your senior year (and keep track of those pieces!). You’ve got a bit to wait for artistic decisions from Pace.
